i'm trying to use auto filter in a range of columns containing various
information ranges, but usually I can filter and it will show me how many records have been filtered at the bottom left hand corner. But on this occassion this doesnt seem to be showing? I've right clicked and I've made sure that the Sum field has been selected? |

This is a known issue with XL, that the status bar doesn't always display
record count. =( Possible workaround is to have a formula somewhere in header row that looks like: =SUBTOTAL(3,A:A) because subtotal ignores hidden/filtered rows. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "DL999" wrote: i'm trying to use auto filter in a range of columns containing various information ranges, but usually I can filter and it will show me how many records have been filtered at the bottom left hand corner.
