COLUMN BORDER ISSUE
I want to put a double border around a range of cells (A1:G20). I can get
the double border to show up around the top, bottom, and right borders of this range, but not the left. I've tried using the draw Borders/Draw Borders tool, and I've tried selecting the range manually and then Format/Cells/Select the Dbl Border in Style and then apply to all four borders. In this dialog box the borders look correct, but when I go back to the document that left border of the A cell is not there. I have tried the same technique - Format/Cells/Select the Dbl Border, etc. in a ANOTHER file and this works. I can also select a range of cells within the problem file and this technique works. It's only when I try to put the dbl border on the left side of cells in column A that this does not work. Ideas? Thanks, William -- William |

COLUMN BORDER ISSUE
Because you are at left edge of worksheet, perhaps you just can't see the
double border? Is it visible when you print/ go to print preview? -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "William" wrote: I want to put a double border around a range of cells (A1:G20). COLUMN BORDER ISSUE
No, it does not show in print preview nor does it print. It does show in the
Format/Cells dialog window. One other thing I tried was inserting a column before column A, then adding the dbl line border to the left side of column B (my original column A), and then deleting the new column A. Unfortunately, the dbl border on the left of column B goes away with new column A when column A is deleted. -- William "Luke M" wrote: Because you are at left edge of worksheet, perhaps you just can't see the double border?
