Default Excel blank sheet opening but the sheet has data

I had Excel 2007 installed and it was working correctly I then installed some
macros. In doing this I must have set something else; because now when I open
an existing Excel sheet, it comes up blank, if I minimize it, then the data
appears. I can then maximize the sheet and all the data is still showing. I
can work on the sheet, save it, close it and everything is saved correctly.
I dont know what I set accidentally to make the sheet first appear blank.
