Default My chance to ask a question

Hi folks,

Everytime I wake up my computer with Excel 2003 or 2007 already open the VBE
opens even though it was not open when I put the computer into Sleep mode.
Any comments or suggestions?

TIA,

Cheers,
Shane Devenshire

Default My chance to ask a question

Hello Shane,

This used to happen to me sometime back... searching the internet I found
something copied at the end of this post. I don't know how I made the leap
but I deleted my (Word's) normal.dot and the problem went away...
Unfortunately I forgot to save the supposedly corrupt normal.dot. Otherwise I
would have restored it and tested again.

------------------------------------------------------
"When you leave your PC for a bit does it go into a sleep mode? If so,
then if the VBE has ever been opened while using Word when your PC
resumes (returns from Sleep mode) the VBE will reopen even though you
previously closed the window. Happens to me all of the time.

Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for
assistance by email can not be acknowledged.
