Default Rotating Text box in Excel 2003

This is an Excel 2003 questions. I've been trying to rotate text box but the
rotate option in the size tab is "gray out" or not available. Same thing at
the drawing option the rotating function is "gray-out" / not available

Maybe you can use WordArt:
Insert|Picture|WordArt

Or you could use a picture a cell and rotate that.

Type the text in a cell (a different worksheet???)
Select that cell
Edit|copy

Select the destination location
Shift-Edit|Paste Picture (or paste picture link)

and you can rotate this picture.

If you use paste picture link, then any change to the original cell will show up
in the picture. If you use the simple paste picture, you can delete/clean up
that "sending" cell.
