Default column wrapping in Excel?

I have a series of numbers that I imput and periodically need to insert a new
number. I know I could use Word and use columns, but someone else created the
doc in Excel and now the file is too large to redo. I was hoping I could redo
the excel spreadsheet so that I would not have to cut and paste each and
everytime I want to insert a new number. ie

172 1719 2372 3051
344 1744 2373 3061
392 1748 2374 3066
397 1933 2610 3076
418 1962
