Default Add rows automatically

I'm really "green" in Excel. Could you please tell me how to add rows
automatically? I have some rows at the bottom of a workbook that I don't
want to change, but need to add rows above that area. It is really time
consuming to keep clicking on "insert" each time I want to add an additional
row above the ones that are already below it.
Thank you,
Catherine

You have to click at least once to let Excel know that you want to insert a
row..

You can add a 'insert row' button on the toolbar. It may already be there on
your toolbar.. If not then see
http://www.bettersolutions.com/excel...B230112322.htm
the steps to add it.

You can insert more than one blank row at a time by:
1. Highlight the number of rows you want to insert (start the highlighting
with the row you want to insert rows above).
2. Right click anywhere in the highlighted area.
3. Select Insert.
