Default What have I done wrong? Cannot double click on file to open

I must have done something wrong as now the only way I can open an Excel file
is to open Excel and then open the file through "File" "Open" I am using
2007 however in early days I converted the file from 2003. Also I am saving
the file as an Excel 2007 Macro-enabled Workbook (*.xlsm) Prior to this
happening I had opened a second window of the same work book and could not
work out how to close it so I just closed the second window and saved the
file. Could this be my problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated as the
help menu does not appear to give me a clue

Not too sure about 2007 but in prior versions I would recommend

Tools - Options - General Tab - uncheck Ignore Other Applications
