Default Closing a protected workbook

With the only options allowable: on the red X on the top right cuadrant.
This is the pictu the workbook does not have the other X probably because
is not maXimaSe, however I CAN NOT close it by rightclicking the bottom tab
with the workbook name on it even if it 'close' is clickcable down there.
Then of course the only option is the red X on the top right that will close
all workbooks open.
I also know I can open more than one intances of XL but my question really is:
Is this a normal behavior or I'm having problems?
Thanks CD.

You're kidding, not?
On the right top screen you have:

The protected workbook does not have any "x" because you checkmarked
"Windows" when you protected it.

If you clear that checkbox and just check "Structure" you will get normal
access to the min/max, restore and "x"

But FileClose will close only the active workbook in any case.
