I've received a large spreadsheet where someone hase insterted manual line
breaks in tons of cells, and I want to get rid of them. I've been going in each cell by hand to delete the manual line breaks. Is there a way to do this for a range of cells all at once? |

Here are a couple of options that may help.
1-Go to view and then page break which should show all the page breaks. Now drag the vertical page breaks to where you want them (if you drag one page break over, the one you are dragging takes the place of the ones passed over). Ignore the horizontal page breaks here because there are probably many more than vertical ones (hopefully you can eliminate the vertical page breaks quickly this way). 2-Ok, now that the vertical page breaks are done go to page setup. Here you need to select "Fit To" and in the width blank enter 1 (assuming you have only one page width if you have multiple page widths you should adjust according to the number of your vertical page breaks you have already done). Now under number of pages tall you will have to guess at the number of pages your document is and enter it. Then go to print preview and quickly scroll down the pages. If any page is not completely full, you need to go back and low the number of pages tall and then print preview again. Continue this until your print preview looks appropriate and you should not have to manually adjust any horizontal page break, but you do have to adjust the vertical ones which usually are easy. Hope this helps and good luck. "Jules" wrote: I've received a large spreadsheet where someone hase insterted manual line breaks in tons of cells, and I want to get rid of them.
