Is it possible to have a excel sheet that auto updates from a website
whenever the website is updated? Now I understand the excel file would have to open for the update to occur. But the main part of this question is really broken into two parts. 1. Can you reference online data? 2. How fast can the refresh rate be on the calculations? |

Hi,
You can connect Excel to at least some web data. But I don't think Excel can detect when the website updates. But you could set up Excel to refresh on a regular basis. Connect using Data, Import External Data, New Web Query To have it automaticlly update right click the range after you imbed the query and choose, Data Range Properties, check Refresh every and set the time. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "Chad" wrote: Is it possible to have a excel sheet that auto updates from a website whenever the website is updated?
