Default Page setup and view changes won't save

Hi, I have what may be a very simple problem, but I just cant figure it out.
Im using Excel 2002 and I have a file that wont save certain changes that
I make. For instance, Ill open the file, change the view from Normal to
Page Break Preview, then go to File, Page Setup, Margins and change the
header and footer settings from the default .5 to .25. Everything looks fine
and prints fine, but as soon as I save the file, close it, and reopen it, it
opens in Normal view and the header/footer settings go back to being .5
again. Ive tried this on several different computers and its the same each
time. I feel like theres probably some setting or something obvious that
Im missing but Im just not sure. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance for any information.
