Thank You for the response but this does not work for what I want to do. A
co-worker has this done on his computer but does not know how it was done and I cannot seem to find it in the EXCEL buttons. -- frank-a "Bernard Liengme" wrote: This is a Windows setting and will alter many things: right click you desktop and open properties and experiment with Themes and Appearances best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP http://people.stfx.ca/bliengme remove caps from email "FSHOTT" wrote in message ... Hi,
You can't do that inside of Excel, so it's probably better not to. You can change the default font under Tools, Options, General if that helps at all. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "FSHOTT" wrote: Can someone tell me how to change the properties (backround color) of the worksheet row or column header bars (i.e. the ROW 1,2,3 etc. or COLUMN A,B,C,etc.? The only way to change the background colors of row and column headings is
change the color scheme under Windows Appearance settings. Which is a global setting and will affect all applications.
