I have inherited an excel program in my office that requires a password to
open. I know the password but I want to remove the password completely.I have gone to protect document and unprotected it and saved changes but when I reopen it I still have to put in the password any ideas -- grizz |

password to open... try this instead.... FileSavel As...on the mini toolbar...ToolsGeneral Options. remove passwords. save file.
