Default Macro Trust Center Un-Available

Can you even press F11 and write a short macro manually?

Barb: Yes, it is when I re-open MS Excel and select "Options" and "Enable
This Content". But, I am still unable to record macros and when I go to the
Trust Center all of the selection buttons are greyed out (i.e., not
available). I can only surmise it is due to a policy restriction of some
sort on the part of my organization (the USAF). I have asked our Medical
Information Systems office to investigate.

I'm guessing you're in Excel 2007. When you open the workbook, is Enable
macros displayed above the worksheet?

The trust center buttons are greyed out so that I may not enable macros. Why
would this be so? How can I enable macros when the commands are not
available?
