Excel Windows Authentication to SQL Server
I'm not an expert in SQL but I was reading a book last night. ODBC is the
older verions of data accesses and doesn't support SQL. You need to move up to ADO which will support SQL. ODBC was used prior to Excel 2000. ADO was 1st introduced in Excel 2000 with enhancements added in Excel 2003. "John Couch" wrote: Is there a way to have Excel AUthenticate to SQL Server via UDL file similar to using a ODBC DSN? |
