Default Cell Color Changes

I have a copy of spreadsheet that changes cell colors when I type in a
particular word. I would like to know what steps it takes to get that done.
Thanks for the help.

You can use conditional formatting, but if you are using excel pre 2007
you only get to write 3 conditions, for a great explanation check out
Bob Phillips site http://www.xldynamic.com/source/xld.CF.html it doesn't
come better than that!

That is conditional formatting you can remove it if not required. Conditional
formatting is done when there is a requirement of formatting the cells based
on certain conditions.
We can conditional formatt these cells for a maximum of three conditions.
