Default Formatting changes to all White

Hello,
I am using Office 2007 and have 2 Excel instances open. I am cutting and
pasting certain cells from one spreadsheet to the other. Everything works
until suddenly the paste is applied with white font so is invisible. I close
the "paste" spreadsheet, all instances of Excel and reboot. The spreadsheet
opens with ALL WHITE font on white background and all other color formatting
is gone! I can see the text by highlighting it and can even change the color
but this doesn't help because all other color formatting has vanished.

Has anyone ever seen this? It's happened to me a couple of times now and
even when I send the spreadsheets to another computer, I have the same
problems.

Thanks in advance!
