Default Expand the fields used in a Datasource for a Pivot Table

Hi,

I have created a series of Pivot Tables and Charts that use external CSV
files via a Datasource. The reports have worked well as it is simple to add
new data to the CSV files and then update the Pivot Tables and Charts by
refreshing.

i have now struck a problem where I want to expand the fields used in the
existing Datasources to include new fields.....I have searched everywhere I
can think of and can find no reference to assist in doing this ? Is it
possible ? or do I need to recreate the Datasource from scratch and then
Pivot Tables and Charts to take advantage of the new fields...

Any help appreciated....
