Hi,
I'v setup a workbook as my datasource which has six tables and there are joined as a relational database using MS query. When I tried to create a pivot table from a saved query out of my data source in the same workbook where my data source is, it did not allow but, I created the pivot table in a new workbook and copied it to the workbook in which my sourcedata exists, it works fine. My question is, Is this a good practice? Is there any other alternative? Also, If want to modify the pivot table, I have to follow the above steps agian. What is the best thing here? |
