Refresh Data
I have a spreadsheet that keeps track of system outages. In one cell I the
outage start time and in anotherI have how long it has been. What I would like is to have this cell refresh every 30 minutes, hour, or whatever I decide. I am not able to use the Refresh data under the data menu. It is grayed out. |

Refresh Data
Hi,
Refresh data on the Data menu is for Pivot Tables or External Data connections but you cursor needs to be in the data. If this is what you have then right click any cell in the external data area and choose Properties and set the Refresh every to whatever you want. You can manually refresh regular spreadsheet cells by pressing: F9 Shift+F9 Ctrl+Alt+F9 Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9 You can also set up an On_Time macro to control your refreshes. If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "Dgwood90" wrote in message ... I have a spreadsheet that keeps track of system outages.
