Thanks for your help!!
I am able to register Excel.exe (2003) using following syntax: "C:\yourpathtoexcel2003\excel.exe /regserver", It should all be in quotes. MS excel 2003 will open. I close the excel and then open excel file. It is still opening in MS Excel 2007. (Change that path to the actual path.) I _think_ that "C:\yourpathtomsword2003\winword.exe" /regserver will work the same way--but you may want to verify that in an MSWord forum. I don't use PPT enough to know. Kashif wrote: I have office 2003 and office 2007 installed on my PC. When I open a file(Excel, word , PP) It by default open MS office 2007. Nope. The entire string should not be in quotes.
Only the "drive/path/excel.exe" should be in quotes. And make sure that you actually use the correct drive and path. Kashif wrote: Thanks for your help!!
