How to open Excel/Word/PP file in office 2003 by default?

Thanks for your help!!

I am able to register Excel.exe (2003) using following syntax:

"C:\yourpathtoexcel2003\excel.exe /regserver", It should all be in quotes.

MS excel 2003 will open.
I close the excel and then open excel file. It is still opening in MS Excel
2007.

reregistering xl2003 should make it the last version installed.

(Change that path to the actual path.)

I _think_ that
"C:\yourpathtomsword2003\winword.exe" /regserver
will work the same way--but you may want to verify that in an MSWord forum.

I don't use PPT enough to know.

Nope. The entire string should not be in quotes.

Only the "drive/path/excel.exe" should be in quotes.

And make sure that you actually use the correct drive and path.
