Hi,
Is it possible to add a trend line to a pivot table chart, I have tried to use the chart menu, add trend line option but it is greyed over, is there a way around this? |

Hi,
In 2007 yes, in 2003 no. Work Arounds: You can create formula connections to your entire pivot table and then plot that area as a regular chart to which you can add a trendline. You might be able to calculate the trendline in the spreadsheet using LINEST, SLOPE and INTERCEPT, incorporate those calculations into the data source and then include that a a pivot table field. But this option is very iffy.
