Default Worksheet as an image

I had someone send me a worksheet via email. She said that she did something
and it turned her worksheet into an image. I looked at it and it is an
image. I thought someone had scanned the original document then place it in
a blank worksheet but she said she pushed something. It was OK a few days
ago.

I do not know how to correct this problem and convert her image back to a
usable worksheet. Does anyone have any suggestions?

first off, an image file is not an excel file, so what she did was create a
new file that is the image, the original spreadsheet file should still be
floating around somewhere.
To "convert" it back, you need to scan it and OCR it.

Hi,

If there is an image on top of the sheet click it an press Del.

You can't turn a worksheet into an image, all you can do is create an image
of a sheet in a workbook. Is the file still an XLS file? are you in Excel
when the file is open or some graphics program? Are the Excel menus,
toolbars and sheet tab active?

Here are some ways you can create an image of, not convert a file to an image:

1. Save as PDF
2. Click the Camera tool
3. Choose Shift+Edit, Copy Picture
4. Use a screen capture program.

cheers,
