When sheets are renamed, the hyperlink should update with the renaming, the
same way formulas update. Example: The original hyperlink is Sheet2!A1. When sheet2 is renamed to sheet3, the hyperlink doesn't update with it and clicking on it gives a "the reference is not valid" error. It sure would be handy if hyperlinks updated when sheets are renamed. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. You may want to replace the Insert|Hyperlink version of the hyperlinks with the
=hyperlink() worksheet function version. David McRitchie posted this and it might help you: =HYPERLINK("#"&CELL("address",C5),C5) =HYPERLINK("#"&CELL("address",sheetone!C5),sheeton e!C5) =HYPERLINK("#"&CELL("address",'sheet two'!C5),'sheet two'!C5) These formulas will adjust if you change the sheet name or insert/delete rows/columns on the linked sheet.
