Transfering one cell of word to excel
when copying a cell witin a word table and pasting into excel, then
formatting the cell to wrap text, row column hieght, etc, when the cell is deactivated, you can't see entire information. Is there a limit on the characters? Is that the problem? |

Transfering one cell of word to excel
hi
yes there is a limit. in xl help, type the word specifications. this will give you the specs and limits of your version of excel. length of text = 32,767 characters. Only 1,024 display in a cell; all 32,767 display in the formula bar regards FSt1 "WINDMILL" wrote: when copying a cell witin a word table and pasting into excel, then formatting the cell to wrap text, row column hieght, etc, when the cell is deactivated, you can't see entire information. Transfering one cell of word to excel
You can see a lot more than the documented 1000 characters (or so) if you add
alt-enters (to force a new line within the cell) every 80-100 characters.
