Transfering one cell of word to excel
when copying a cell witin a word table and pasting into excel, then
formatting the cell to wrap text, row column hieght, etc, when the cell is deactivated, you can't see entire information. Is there a limit on the characters? Is that the problem? |

hi
yes there is a limit. in xl help, type the word specifications. this will give you the specs and limits of your version of excel. length of text = 32,767 characters. Only 1,024 display in a cell; all 32,767 display in the formula bar regards FSt1 "WINDMILL" wrote: when copying a cell witin a word table and pasting into excel, then formatting the cell to wrap text, row column hieght, etc, when the cell is deactivated, you can't see entire information. You can see a lot more than the documented 1000 characters (or so) if you add
alt-enters (to force a new line within the cell) every 80-100 characters.
