Default Text Box Format Default

I use Excel '07. Is there a way to save the default settings to a desired
format when you insert a new text box so you don't have to change it each
time?

Default Text Box Format Default

hi, !

I use Excel '07.
Is there a way to save the default settings to a desired format when you insert a new text box
so you don't have to change it each time?

what type of "text box" ?

- activeX ?
maybe storing one of them pre-formatted as a "template" and copy/paste
(according your needs: userform, embedded over a worksheet)

- drawing object/shape ?
- select the shape and right-click on the boundaries...
- from the contextual menu, choose "default format..." (or something like that) ?

hth,
hector.
