I am using Excel 2000. I have a spread sheet of 10 columns one of which has
..jpg photos related to items that we wich to track.

When I try to sort the spread sheet by any column the photos end up as a
jumbled up mess and do not sort as do the other columns.

Is there a solution to this?

XL sorts the cells. If you want the photos to sort properly you need to
ensure that each photo resides entirely in a single cell. If it spans
multiple cells then XL does not know where you would like the piture to land.
