Default auto locking of excell workbook (excell 2003)


have an excell workbook, it contains sensitive information due to the nature
of the company/job etc. Upon opening these workbooks , if unused after a
short time can they be locked auto matically requiring a pass word to re open
?

Hi,

Apologies but I find it slightly amusing that a sensitive workbook should be
left open and unattended but here we are. By far the safest solutions and in
order a-

1. Make the users have the self discipline to close the password protected
workbook.

2. Close the workstation using the screensaver with password to unlock.

3. use the code here

If the data is that sensitive, why not require a password to open to start
with?

But to answer your question.............yes it can be done.
