go to file | page setup | header/footer tab | choose the option of

Hi,
Since you didn't indicate what version of Excel you are using, here are the steps for 2007: Page Layout, click the quick launch button at the bottom right of the Page Setup group and Page Setup, Header/Footer, Custom Footer, Right section. Then click the Insert Page Number button.
