How do I compress a large file?
I have a large Excel file - multiple tabs that is approximately 320,000 KB.
I am having trouble with the file because it is so large. Some of the data in the file is linked from other files, I have used conditional formating on the sheets and various other forumals throughout the file. Any thoughts on how to reduce the file size? Thanks. |

You can make sure that you don't have any blank rows in the document that
contain formatting, or used to contain data at some point. The following web address has a tip sheet on removing dead wood from your file by removing columns and rows that are no longer in use. Additionally, you might want to cut back on some of the formatting as well to knock some bytes off the size of the file. -- Kevin Backmann "BUD1888" wrote: I have a large Excel file - multiple tabs that is approximately 320,000 KB.
