I want to add 240 to each cell in Column A (Column A + 240). Then I want the
new data to be the new Column A. Right now I did: added Column B. Formulated 'Sum of Column A + Column B = Column C' So, I wanted to make Column C to replace Column A. And delete Column B. But the data keeps pulling the formula. Please help! Thank you! |

Select your new numbers in column C and then edit/copy/paste special/values
in column A. Then delete columns B and C. "May" wrote: I want to add 240 to each cell in Column A (Column A + 240). Then I want the new data to be the new Column A. Right now I did: added Column B. Instead, type 240 in a blank cell, copy it (CTRL+C)
Then select your data in column A (the entire range) Paste Special (ALT+E, S, V) ... choose ADD under operation and voila. -- ** John C ** "May" wrote: I want to add 240 to each cell in Column A (Column A + 240).
