Default Emailed Excel Documents keep senders printer settings

We have printers at our offices with multiple output trays.

If a user emails an excel file to someone that prints to the same printer
and the user that receives the email prints the excel file, it prints to the
tray of the sender not to the tray of the person who received the email.

This only happens in excel. Word docs and adobe docs print to the correct
printer tray.

Anyone know why that happens, or even better how to fix it?

This should not happen.

Is the printing through a macro (executed through a button etc.)?

If one is printing through the FILE|PRINT option then this will not happen.
