I need to open an Excel file that was saved with password protection in Excel
2003 but using Excel 2000. I know the password, but when I try to open the file I get the message: "The password you supplied is not correct. Verify that the CAP LOCK key is off and be sure to use the correct capitalization". The File opens fine in Excel Viewer but this doesn't allow me to see the formulas - just the calculated worksheet. Is there a free workaround / program / utility that will allow me to remove the password protection so that I can open the file in my version of Excel? Unfortunately I don't have access to a later version of the Excel software. I appreciate any help ! |
