Default No names visible in name box of formula bar

Hello Excellers,

I have a workbook with a couple of defined names in it. But those names
don't show up in the name box of the formula bar. However they are
visible (and traceable) via Insert | Name | Define.

How can I make 'm visible in the name box. There are no macro's in the
workbook.

You're defined names are technically defined *formulas* and those types of
defined names don't show up in the name box. For example:

rng1: =$A$1:$A$100
rng2: =OFFSET($A$1,,,COUNTA($A:$A))

rng1 will show up in the name box but rng2 will not
