Default Formula only for visible Cells

Is there a way to make a function apply only to visible cells, in otherwords
not include a cell if it is hidden?

Thanks!

Default Formula only for visible Cells

In Excel 2003, SUBTOTAL includes special codes, 101 for Average, 102 for
COUNT, etc., these ignore hidden cells
