I'm guessing you mean =NOW() ? That will put the current date and time in the cell. It will be updated every time the worksheet is recalculated. Try pressing F9 every so often to see the effect of forcing re-calculation. Format as hh:mm:ss to see just the time including seconds. Pressing F9 will also appear to be more effective or quicker or whatever. Regards Trevor "Marcel" wrote in message ... I want to place a clock in a sheet.
