Clock

I want to place a clock in a sheet. Attempts didn't work and in the helpfile
noticed that there should be a macro linked to the = ( ) function.
This was no succes.

Thanks in front.

Marcel.

I'm guessing you mean =NOW() ?

That will put the current date and time in the cell. It will be updated
every time the worksheet is recalculated. Try pressing F9 every so often to
see the effect of forcing re-calculation.

Format as hh:mm:ss to see just the time including seconds. Pressing F9 will
also appear to be more effective or quicker or whatever.

Trevor

If you put:

=now()

in a cell, it'll update whenever your worksheet recalculates -- not quite like a
real clock, but pretty close.

Personally, I just look at the clock in the taskbar.
