Excel cannot open Access MDB

I did what you suggested and there were no access database in the startup directory. Any other ideas. Every time excel opens, it will open all files in these directories. The startup directory (on Win2K) is: C:\Documents and Settings\{your userid}\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART The alternate startup is only used if you specified it under Tools | Options (General Tab), At startup open all files in: Move the database out of the directory and all should be ok.
