Default Excel to letters and mailings?

Can an Excel column of data such as names and addresses be moved to or
somehow merged into Word or some format so I can print them out into mailing
labels? Trying to not handwrite the addresses if I can help it but the lables
I have only work with Word. Thanks in advance
