I am trying to assist a coworker with a problem, but I am stumped. When they
are entering data into a cell, it is automatically repeating in the same cell. For example, if they type Directive, the cell with display DirectiveDirective. When I double clicked on the cell to edit, Directive would only appear once. I can delete the cell entirely, but this probem continually occurs with them. Does anyone know why this is occurring? |

Hi,
Is it just the word 'Directive' that does this? If so have a look in Tools|Auto Correct Options Type Directive in the left box and see if something appears in the right. If it does delete the auto correction. Mike "Michele" wrote: I am trying to assist a coworker with a problem, but I am stumped. It sounds as though the "Fill" format has been applied to the cell(s) by
accident or by design, perhaps as a joke. Click in the "bad" cell and from the Menu Bar: <Format <Cells <Alignment tab, and see if the Horizontal window displays "Fill:. -- HTH, RD ================================================== === Please keep all correspondence within the Group, so all may benefit! ================================================== === "Michele" wrote in message ...
