Excel 2007 AutoRecover
I have a problem with autorecover. I had open a 6 MB .XLS file, and then
when I tried to open up a 36 MB .XLS file, excel hung up. I forced the program to quit. The problem is that when I try to re-open the 6 MB file, it automatically tries to open the 36 MB file, which hangs excel. Unlike Excel 2003 there is no option to choose which files to recover. The location of the autorecover files is empty, but the problem keeps happening. How to do I stop this? |

Excel 2007 AutoRecover
May need to try 2 other things.
Ensure the file is deleted from Recent Files as well. May want to temporarily move the existing 36 meg file to another directory. "Jeff Lowenstein" wrote: I have a problem with autorecover.
