Virus or 'behind the scene' file problem?
On a flash drive, I have a bunch of Office 2000 word and excel files. Most
of those files are just fine. I have two that will not open at all (error msg = 'read-only'), two that are there, but have 'reversed names' (file 1 now has file 2's name and vice versa) and a word document that opens but displays only symbols. The only common thing is that all these files have a modified date of 9/7/2008. I have scanned for virus's and found nothing. No other files on the flash drive or hard disk are effected. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |
