Default Excel 2003 - Selected cell not shaded at all

I'm starting to think that the installation of Excel on this computer is
suspect. When I select a cell now, there is no shading whatsoever in the
selected cell. Our IT folks did a Detect and Repair yesterday due to some
Outlook issues I was having, so who knows what that might have done.

How do I turn this shading back on in Excel 2003?

Thanks,
Barb Reinhardt
