I am attempting to plot line graphs but there are periods in the data that i
wish to exclude from the line that joins them, is there any way to not join two points, but have them remain visible on the chart. ie leave gaps in the data line? |

1. You can manually format the individual line segment between two points.
Click once on the series, then once on the line segment, then right click Format XXX, and remove the line. 2. You can insert a blank in the worksheet data (not a formula that returns ""), and make sure the chart is set to leave gaps in the line for blank cells (Tools menu Options Chart tab). - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "JF2003" wrote in message ...
