Counting Entries between two dates

Hi Everyone, I need help.
In Column 'A' I have all the days in a year. In Colomn 'B' I enter numbers
representing bank deposits. Is it possible to have a formula counting
deposits between two specific dates?
EX:

Sheet 1
Column A Column B
01/01/08 ‚¬ 200
02/01/08 ‚¬ 150
03/01/08 ‚¬ 140
04/01/08 ‚¬ 100

Sheet 2

(Date From) 01/01/08 (Date to) 03/01/08 = ‚¬ 490
