Default is there a way to make floating data blocks on the page

looking to make a floating data block with the totals follow the page down so
not to have to keep going to top to see data changes. is this possible

In excel 2003, you could try clicking:
Tools Formula Auditing Show Watch Window
to surface the dialog
Then click Add Watch, and select the required cells ...

The dialog will float/remain visible as you scroll down/to the right
and it'll show the changes

I don't use this feature much, but it might fit what you're after
