Default Pivot Table Field Number

I would like to format the cells in the pivot table I followed the procedures
Field Settings (Pivot table field) pops up and there should be NUMBER on the
bottom right hand side of this pop up, but there is no number button at all.
What am I missing or have not done here to get number to show. Any ideas?
Cheers

If the source data contains text or blank cells, you won't have the
Number button.
